A rotary concentrator is a temperature swing adsorption device, designed to continuously remove VOC's from low concentration, high volume air streams by adsorping the VOC's onto a "wheel" containing hydrophobic zeolite adsorbent. While the wheel is turning, a small section of the zeolite is continuously releasing VOC's from the zeolite through the use of a heated low volume air stream, which then becomes a concentrated air stream. The concentrated
air stream is then directed to an oxidizer for treatment. By concentrating the VOC''s from the high volume to a low volume air stream considerable energy savings of both electricity and fuel are achieved.
